Graduate Studies

Harvard offers an outstanding environment to pursue graduate studies in theoretical computer science. It provides a combination of world-class faculty, smaller program with individual attention, opportunity to collaborate with researchers across many areas in one of the world's top universities, as well as take advantage of the unique resources for TCS in the greater Cambridge/Boston area. If you are interested in graduate studies in the theory of computing, please apply to the Ph.D program in SEAS (see also their FAQ), and indicate your interest in ToC on your application. (You should apply to the "Engineering and Applied Science" program, choose "PhD Computer Science" for subject and "PhD" for the degree, and in the SEAS supplemental form page indicate your interest in "Theory of Computation" under Computer Science.)
